This guide will help you find vegan food, sustainable shops, and more in London, divided by different regions. I have included some reviews of the places I have tried, but that is my opinion, and it is neither a guarantee for any future experiences now should you avoid visiting a place because I did not have a pleasant experience!
Feel free to use the map included below and download it on your phone for when you visit London
Here is a list of chains (2 locations or more) which you can visit all over London and the UK (if applicable):
Crosstown Doughnuts (vegan options available, 100% vegan locations available)
Whether you want a quick snack or something sweet after lunch, you will find a Crosstown in every corner of the city, and all of them offer a couple of vegan options. Their donuts are filling and delicious, and if you want a little extra something, you should visit their all vegan locations, which include the one in Marylebone
Franco Manca (vegan options)
I only recently found about Franco Manca and I am very impressed! This restaurant chain now offers vegan cheese with their traditional pizzas, and there are a couple of vegan pasta dishes you can choose from.
GBK (vegan options)
Another great option for when you're out and about with non-vegan family and friends with locations all over London. I usually get the California burger, made with a bean patty, and a side of their delicious "skinny fries."
Honest Burgers (vegan options)
One of my favorite restaurant chains in London, by far. At every location you can find the vegan burger, they use the Beyond Meat patty, and it is delicious! Make sure to ask for vegan mayo on the side to dip your fries in!
Whole Foods (vegan options)
Vegan food, beauty and more. Whole Foods has it all. You can even bring your own containers to use at their food court, and of course, water refill stations to stay hydrated.
The Athenian (vegan options)
One of my absolute favorite places to eat in London. As a Greek I must admit I sometimes miss the traditional "gyros", but The Athenia has got me covered with their vegan options! So good, I'm drooling writing this post.
By Chloe (100% vegan)
Another one of my "go-to's". By Chloe has amazing plant-based food including the Ceasar Salad (with mushroom bacon) and their Mac n' Cheese (with sweet-potato cheese) which I choose every. single. time. I would sadly avoid their breakfast/brunch because it is underwhelming compared to their regular options.
Karine Jackson Hair + Beauty Salon (100% vegan)
Dirty Bones (vegan options)
If you're looking for a casual night out, this is the place to go! They offer the Moving Mountains patty which is absolutely divine and there are a couple of starters that are suitable for vegans too!
Absurd bird (vegan options)
Craving chicken n' waffles? This is the only place I've discovered so far in London that can veganize the classic comfort dish. Even though I haven't tried their waffles, their chick'n is really good, service exceptional but please make sure you confirm that you are ordering vegan, because the waiter informed me that there have been multiple miscommunications.
Soft serve, ice-cream, and yogurt, all vegan-friendly with a huge array of toppings to choose from, a strong drive towards sustainability and it's delicious. What more do you want?
Bags, wallets and other accessories made from the caps of tin cans! Even though they do use leather, you can find a couple of options that don't.
